Last spring, my friends and I took our annual weekend trip together. We usually went to New Hampshire and enjoyed Soulfest (weekend of concerts), but this past year we decided to explore the coast of Maine instead. We are so glad we did. We found the most quaint location to stay at and just relax and enjoy each other. We had so much fun shopping, watching movies, and eating at some yummy coastal restaurants. It was my kind of mini vacation. Food + Friends + Shopping = Happiness. 

I wanted to share this post. Why? Maine is absolutely beautiful and there are so many beautiful places yet to be uncovered even though I have grown up here my whole life. My job has allowed me to travel all over the state of Maine, north to south and east to west. In doing so, I have been able to experience new towns, new people, and new sites got see. I share this in hopes that my followers can go explore these same places and enjoy this beautiful state as much as I do.  

If you are looking for a quaint, coastal get away this spring or summer, Lodge On The Cove is just for you. This hidden gem is located in Kennebunkport Maine. It is about one mile outside of downtown Kennebunkport. You won't miss a beat. For lunch you can lounge around the pool and enjoy their games, snack bar, and your family. For dinner, grab a bicycle and head into town to enjoy one of the local restaurants. In the evening, enjoy a walk on Perkins Cove or have a little movie night in your room with the DVD's provided at the front desk. It was a perfect stay.
