Lupin, golden hour, Mount Katahdin... Who wouldn't come to Maine for engagement pictures?!

Meet Joe and Julie. They are such an adventurous and carefree couple. With adventure in mind, Joe and Julie decided to plan a destination wedding on the coast of Maine this summer. They live all the way in Michigan, but Maine's beauty drew them in. I met Joe and Julie online, through a business network. After communicating for a little while, Julie booked me as their photographer and we planned a Skype date. The details of their wedding day were so pretty to hear. I enjoyed every moment of your Skype meeting. 

A while later, Julie contacted me again. She was wondering if they could do an engagement session when they came to Maine, to scope out the wedding day plans. Of course I said YES!! I gave them some location options for pictures, but they decided that they wanted to experience rural Maine. What better place to experience that then my small town of Sherman. Their session was GORGEOUS!! The lupin was at peak and the sunset was perfect over Mount Katahdin! 

I am so glad Joe and Julie decided to visit my small town and enjoy all that it offers. I am so excited for their wedding this month in Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park! I have really enjoyed the opportunity of meeting this great couple! Enjoy their beautiful Maine engagement!
